This card was for a group of cards that I made for my niece, all in red and black. The card itself is black card stock cut at 8 1/2 in x 5 1/2 in, and folded. It fits an A2 size envelope. The patterned paper is from the You Rock collection by Autumn Leaves, it’s cut at 2 in x 5 1/4 in. I used red card stock cut at 2 in x 5 1/4 in, and used a punch for the bottom edge. It’s wrapped up with a strip of black ribbon, and a stamped image of a girlie skull with 2 small jewel eyes. I used black ink for the You Rock stamp and embossed with clear embossing powder. Cute.
Father’s Day Card June 28, 2010
My first post! Yay! This is the Father’s Day card that I made for my step-father. I used an image from my computer for the airplanes. The card itself is 5 1/2 in x 5 1/2 in. I used a cuttlebug embossing folder and inked lightly over the top. The plaid strip in the middle measures 2 in x 5 1/2 in. I stamped stars on coordinating card stock and cut them out. Buttons, letter stamps and a brown pen for the faux stitching, finish off this super easy card.
