Bat Card August 31, 2010

I love Halloween! I love the bats and cats and cute ghosts, etc. The card size is 5.5 in x 5.5 in. The base cardstock is cut at 5.5 in x 11 in.  I used green bazzill cardstock for the second layer, cut at 4 in x 5 in. I used a Martha Stewart edge punch for the bottom of the card. The orange paper is cut at 3 3/4in x 4 3/4 in. The bat and Happy Halloween title was made with my Silhouette machine. I used some crystal Stickles to make dots along the edges of the images.

Birthday Card August 17, 2010

This is a birthday card that I made for my great grandmother. It is 5.5in x 5.5 in. I cut the paper for the base at 5.5in x 11in. The patterned paper is by colorbok, pretty poppies. I cut a strip of the back side of the same paper for the middle. The top strip is cut from another paper in the same paper stack and cut with a border punch by fiskars.

The Casset Tape August 14, 2010

Thia card fits into an A2 size envelope.I used my Cricut to cut out the casset tape and stamped the greeting with stamps by Papertrey ink.

Grandmother August 12, 2010

This is another card using the Ciao Bella, DCWV paper stack. All of the papers in this stack are so beautiful. The card size is 5.5 in x 5.5 in. The base is cut at 5.5 in x 11 in and folded in half. I cut the patterned paper at about 5 in square. I inked the edges of the card with black ink and used stickles around the edges of the patterned paper. I also used stickles on the white flower to make it stand out more. I popped up the “grandmother” title with pop dots and inked the edges.

Another Mom August 11, 2010

This card is also 5.5 in x 5.5 in. I cut a pink piece of cardstock at 5.5 in x 11 in and folded it in half. I love this size. The rest of the card is made from a piece of paper out of the Ciao Bella, DCWV paper stack. I cut a border out from the same sheet and placed it at the bottom of the card, added some glitter stickles.  Quick, simple and pretty.

Mom August 10, 2010

I made this card for my mom using the Ciao Bella, DCWV paper stack.  The cream colored carsdtock base is 5.5 in x 11 in, folded in half to make a 5.5 in x 5.5 in card. I stamped mon in the corner and embellished a couple of the butterflies with a clear glitter stickles. I also inked the edges with black ink. I think it turned out very “pretty”,  something you would find at a tea shop.

Skull Purse August 4, 2010

I love this purse! It’s so stinkin’ cute! I made this using a tutorial from cupcakescreations.blogspot.com. I picked the color scheme from a site called Kuler. My niece loves lime green, so this was perfect for her. I found that I can fit 6 or 7 A2 size cards with envelopes. It makes an awesome gift.
